Psychiater Dirk De Wachter, oboist Bram Nolf, and pianist Daan Vandewalle bring a musical lecture in which word and music find each other. In Wachtzaam they explore how music, philosophy, and the art of living touch and strengthen each other. Dirk De Wachter shares sharp but comforting reflections about man and his time, while the soulful sounds of oboe and piano deepen and embrace the words.
Wachtzaam is not a classic lecture, nor a traditional concert, but a layered experience that appeals to both the head and the heart. After the success of Van de schoonheid en de troost, Dirk De Wachter, Bram Nolf, and Daan Vandewalle join forces again.
