Cycling tour: designing with and for species (1000-species day in Ghent)

On this bike ride, we will visit a number of places in Ghent where ecology, biodiversity, nature-inclusivity, and multi-species design visibly help shape the urban fabric. The chosen locations form concrete starting points for observation, conversation, and reflection on how different practices relate to current issues regarding nature in the city. There is also specific attention paid to the tensions, complexities, and choices involved. Along the way, we create space for exchange between participants. In this way, the tour invites you to read Ghent differently and to think about the city as a shared, multi-species living environment. Important: Bring your own bike.
