Malvin Moskalez carries a story that is as raw as it is hopeful. Seventeen years ago, one motorcycle ride changed everything. A serious accident cost him a lower leg, but also brought an unexpected rediscovery: music as a lifeline. Guitar, vocals and songwriting became his way to regain a grip on life.
With the support of musical friends such as Steven De Bruyn, Tom Goethals and Brussels studio wizard Géraldine Cappaert, he has since released two albums: ‘For the Beauty Kept Inside’ and ‘Not Today’. Pure DIY records full of warm, honest songs, stripped of frills, steeped in emotion, and carried by a no-nonsense approach.
At this Leiesessie, he brings harmonica virtuoso Steven De Bruyn along. Together they bring music that is not only heard, but especially felt.
De Leiesessies are a collaboration between the community center and Stinstage.
