1942. France is still occupied by Nazi Germany. The underground resistance remains active, while the Vichy regime loses more and more of its credibility. The stubborn General de Gaulle remains determined in his fight for French freedom and must navigate his way between the constant conflicts and quarrels with the British government and the distrust of the Americans.
