Since mid-2026, the Sint-Martinus in Overpelt has had a large baroque organ from 1960 that was relocated from the Nederlandse Ridderkerk. This instrument replaces the Van de Loo organ from 1935, whose condition was particularly problematic. Repair work was far too high and was no longer in proportion to the limited value of the instrument. Bart Wuilmus and Vera Baliko are both teachers at the Kunstacademie Noord-Limburg and let the recently installed organ sound with work for organ & cello by, among others, Bach, Buxtehude, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, and improvisations.
