Open-air film "Team Rudy" (by Nick Balthazar)

Start the last Friday evening of the summer holidays with a fun family activity.   For the annual open-air film in the Tuin van Adem and Food, a Belgian film was chosen: Team Rudy van Nick Balthazar. This director presents a warm and often funny documentary about actor-writer Rudy Morren, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. After informing his friends about this, their bond strengthens and they quickly form a powerful network: Team Rudy. While he prepares for a major brain surgery, the team focuses on solidarity and hope through unique connection parties. Part of the team are actor Michaël Pas and young theater maker Aline Cornelissen, who, together with Rudy, continue to search for how art, friendship, and care can strengthen each other. For creator Nic Balthazar, the project is also personal, given that his father lives with Parkinson's. With this film, he tries to inspire new 'teams' everywhere, because connection is perhaps the most beautiful and important form of healthcare.
