Hello Miss, 10+ - De Maan

About embarrassing moments in the chip shop and mothers who come out of phones. About small thoughts that become bigger and big feelings that shrink. About hormones and a growing mustache, about wearing skirts and about armpit hair. About girls and boys and boxes. Or is it perhaps not all that black and white? ‘BONJOUR MADEMOISELLEKE’ is a performance for young and old in which transphobia and gender identity are approached with a good dose of curiosity, care, and humor. Lukas Glowacki’s love for theater and illustration meet on stage. The audience follows his own search, thoughts, and feelings in the form of a live graphic novel accompanied by live music. Lukas Glowacki is a theater maker, illustrator, and versatile tinkerer. At DE MAAN he did an internship for directing/workshop work and helped develop the MAANpad 2023. This fine collaboration continued by creating his master's thesis ‘BONJOUR MADEMOISELLEKE’ in-house at DE MAAN. ‘This 'Bonjour Mademoiselleke' surprises, amazes.
