100 years of cabaret

Four renowned artists (Erik Goossens, Udo Mechels, Ann Van den Broeck, and Mathieu Engels) present a carefully curated selection of the most iconic kleinkunst songs of the past century. This concert honors the big names from kleinkunst, such as Wim Sonneveld, Boudewijn de Groot, Ramses Shaffy, and Willem Vermandere. In addition, they highlight the evolution of the genre: from nostalgic melodies to protest songs that marked the 60s and 70s, and they bring timeless works that still exert their influence today. With '100 jaar kleinkunst', they bring an homage to the songs that have touched generations, and we celebrate the power of kleinkunst as a carrier of stories, traditions, and emotions.
