Grof Geschud - Celebrating

Grof Geschud is back with the new performance VIEREN (CELEBRATING). Number four already. And yes, there is plenty to celebrate: there are children, a sturdy roof over their heads and the relationship between the two is more stable than ever, now that they have been promoted from exes to each other's extended family. Okay, that Myrthe became godmother to Lander's child and Lander then wasn't even allowed to be present at Myrthe's wedding, was maybe a thing. But Lander is fortunately not at all bitter about that. He actually received a USB stick with the wedding ceremony, which he hasn't even watched yet (according to Myrthe). Grof Geschud dives into VIEREN in their familiar, blood-honest way into the new tensions in their lives. When do you let go of your ex-past, and where does friendship, or even a family bond begin? And what do you expect from each other in that new role? How do you compensate for the lack of your blood relatives when raising a new little life? And if that family is there, and quite present, do we celebrate that family bond at all costs, or should we let it be celebrated?
