Christmas Concert Culture Working Group

On Sunday, December 13, the culture working group invites you to the annual Christmas concert in the Sint-Pieterskerk. The doors open at 6 PM, the concert starts at 6:30 PM. For this festive 35th edition, a special program is on the menu, featuring a homegrown soloist. Jan Wouters, a special voice from Vorselaar Contratenor Jan Wouters, grew up in Vorselaar and took his first musical steps here. In the meantime, he has built a fine international career as a singer, with performances at, among others, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and Opera Zuid and as a soloist in domestic and foreign concert halls. With his exceptional alto voice, Jan brings a repertoire that fits perfectly with the warm, magical atmosphere of Christmas. Koninklijke Harmonie Verbroedering under the direction of Peter Thijs Jan is accompanied by the talented musicians of our Vorselaarse Koninklijke Harmonie Verbroedering. Thus, he returns musically to his native village for this occasion. Reserve your spot! New this year: advance reservation is mandatory! Without a reservation, you cannot attend the Christmas concert. Reserve your spot from November 10 to December 6 via www.vorselaar.be/kerstconcert. Do not wait too long, because the number of places is limited.
