Debuutconcert Bowmore: A brand new Belgian string quartet!

Bowmore is the name of an intrepid new Belgian string quartet. Rasmusici Pieter Jansen, Veronique De Raedemaeker, Tony Nys and Francis Mourey join forces to explore (mainly) the incredibly rich string quartet repertoire since 1950 together. Op Festival 20·21 they bring their debut concert with a completely Belgian program. Luc Brewaeys’ Bowmore could of course not be missing, just as little as the tribute that Annelies Van Parys wrote ten years ago upon the death of her teacher. In addition, the little-known but uniquely beautiful Summer Dreams by sound magician Philippe Boesmans will also be heard.
