Summer Walk Huwynsbossen Lichtervelde

Met de Dag of Nature 2025, the domain was expanded by another 2.5ha and the shortcut to the Colpaertbosjes was realized again, as it actually used to be. Now the domain covers about 35 ha. With the 1000 species weekend 2025, the following species were observed, among others: European stonechat, Eurasian skylark, Zwarte Roodstaart, European goldfinch, Gele Kwik, Long-eared owl, Eurasian sparrowhawk, ... After the walk, there is an opportunity to have a drink. The walk is supported by the Regionaal Landschap West-Vlaamse Hart. Meeting point: Gather from 6:45 PM at the parking lot of Vakantiehoeve Bouckenhove Riddrstraat 1 8810 Lichtervelde.. Departure strictly at 7:00 PM (until 9:00 PM) Participation fee: Free for NP members. Non-members pay 3 euros. Children -12 y free. Prior registration is not necessary.
