Apero Classical - Niels Hap and Martijn van Sas

Music is the most important thing for clarinetist Niels Hap. As a musical jack-of-all-trades, he explores artistic paths with full dedication, as a performer of old and contemporary music, as a conductor, clarinetist, and performer. Together with cellist Jasmijn Lootens and pianist and long-time colleague Ivo Delaere, he founded the ensemble bODEM, which has been a guest in the Congregatiekapel several times. Pianist Martijn Sas has performed in various prestigious concert series and stages, including Arte Amanti, Im Zentrum Lied in Cologne, Vrienden van het Lied in the Netherlands (together with baritone Artur Rożek), the Miry Klavierreeks, and the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna. His playing is characterized by a refined musicality and a deep sensitivity for text and poetry, which makes him a much-sought-after partner for song performances.
