Kauwboy – Mathieu Engels

Mathieu Engels is a born storyteller with more than a song, his guitar, and a voice. He dreamed of full halls and big tours, but during the corona pandemic, he ended up as "Animatjeu" in the day room of residential care home Beukenhof. There, he comforted residents with songs, humor, and juicy stories. With KAUWBOY, his first solo performance, he looks back on that special period that changed his life forever. By means of colorful characters, little songs, moving encounters, and a very special bird, he takes the audience to the place where it all began. KAUWBOY is a warm, funny, and moving performance about friendship, connection, and the unexpected paths that life sometimes takes. A story that makes you laugh, touches you, and lingers for a long time.
