The poignant songs and soothing stories of Het Onderspit have ripened in recent years during more than 200 living room and stage concerts into a balanced musical whole. Cappelle sings very evocatively in West Flemish, with Marieke Van Raes in warm harmony next to him, as a guitarist and keyboardist much more than a background singer.
