Carillon concert by students of Academie Muziek and Word

De Academie Muziek and Word is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. We like to shout that from the rooftops or even from the entire carillon, because for a number of years the academy has also housed a carillon class. For the occasion, we are also opening the door to some carillon students from the neighboring Peer/Pelt department of the Koninklijke Beiaardschool Jef Denyn. The students and teacher will play a concert. There will be solo playing, but there is also room for four-handed playing. Finally, we will also play the new composition 'Minor Third' by teacher Jan Verheyen, a modern open composition that involves several hands and feet.
