Arpentage/lunch: “Tout pour tout le monde : une histoire orale de la Commune de New York”

Sat, 20 Jun 2026
Théâtre de Poche, Brussels
What might a revolution in the 21st century look like? That is what this book proposes to explore. Twenty years after a global revolution, two historians collect the stories of those who experienced the collapse of the old world and the construction of more egalitarian, ecological, and solidary societies. Through twelve voices, the book traces crises, revolts, and hopes of a collective shift driven by a watchword: “everything for everyone.” With the "arpentage" (a collective reading method), the idea is not to provide an academic analysis, but a collective appropriation of knowledge: we cross perspectives, we reconstruct meaning together, and we discuss the passages that resonate politically, emotionally, or intellectually. A lunch will be offered at the same time as the arpentage.
