Caregiver action at the weekly market in Puurs

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, we will put extra focus on informal care with an awareness campaign in Puurs center, on the occasion of the Day of Informal Care on June 23. This campaign is part of a broader initiative taking place in Puurs-Sint-Amands, Willebroek, and Bornem. In Puurs-center, we will be present at the local market from 8 AM to 12 PM. This initiative is a collaboration between the Lokaal Bestuur and the Eerstelijnszone Klein-Brabant Vaartland and various informal care actors such as Samana. We want to inform visitors about what informal care entails and help people discover if they might already be informal caregivers without realizing it. Everyone is welcome to ask questions, share their story, and take home brochures or a goodie bag.
