ILLUSTRATION FESTIVAL / De Verbeelders

Saturday, August 29, 2026 will be a top day for illustration lovers! The fourth edition of the illustration festival settles in cultural center Hasselt. Villa Verbeelding organizes a day full of workshops, lectures, live illustration, expos, and an illustration and book market. With, among others, Leo Timmers, Carll Cneut, Gerda Dendooven and Pieter Van Eenoge. In the morning you can choose between 7 different workshops. In the afternoon there are lectures, a live podcast, and live illustration.  You can buy your favorite books at the book stands and have them signed immediately. At the illustration market, you will find posters, cards, prints, ... from young illustration talent.  Every festival-goer can also participate in De Illustratiemuur . An expo for one day where you can hang your own work among the big names. TIP! On presentation of your festival ticket, you can visit Villa Verbeelding for free on this day.
