Living room storytelling at Katrien and Steven's

STORIES OF THE COAST AND FISHING Bart Verdonk and Gwen Deprez are part of ‘Vertelcollectief Mandragora’. It is an enthusiastic group of West Flemish storytellers from the coastal region. They are storytellers with old and new stories. With their voice as their only instrument, they play with the listener's imagination. Let yourself be carried away on the wings of their rich treasure chest filled with Flemish folk tales. Enjoy the antics of the Roesschaard, a terrible sea devil that used to make our coast unsafe, or one of the countless other gems from fishing life and the sea. On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 8:00 PM, Vertelcollectief Mandragora will be telling stories at Katrien and Steven's, Kruishoutemstraat 59 in Machelen.
