Knitting is more popular than ever! The sound of clicking knitting needles can be heard in many households. In the fifties and sixties of the last century, Sint-Niklaas was a bustling center of knitting activity, with numerous workshops equipped with knitting machines. It was a thriving industry! On these machines, stockings, hats, scarves, and fabrics were produced in large quantities. In the knitting museum, you can still see these machines in action and experience the rich history of knitting. Note! Participation in the guided tour consists of 2 tickets: 1. an entrance ticket online or at the box office 2. a ticket for the guide at €5 per person
