SeeingTheHuman Bij Dementie

(Care)giving is caring with your heart. But it is also searching, doubting, and sometimes losing what you thought you knew. The performance “DeMensZien bij dementie” takes you into that recognizable story. Carine receives an Alzheimer's diagnosis and her granddaughter Eva decides to take her into her home. What starts as an act of love grows into a confrontational, but warm search for how to keep caring without losing yourself. The play shows with humor, emotion, and respect how people with dementia still remain human — with their own desires, fears, and dignity. Duration: approx. 80 minutes For whom: caregivers, family members, aid workers and everyone who has to deal with dementia.
