Autism-friendly tour in the Kasteel van Gaasbeek for adults

Sat, 5 Sept 2026 · 14:30
Entreegebouw Kasteel van Gaasbeek, Gaasbeek (Lennik)
€12
On Saturday, September 5, we head to the Kasteel van Gaasbeek for a fascinating guided tour. During the tour, you will discover the Kasteel van Gaasbeek. Het Kasteel van Gaasbeek has a rich history of about 800 years. Curious? An enthusiastic guide will take you on a tour through the castle and the permanent exhibition. You will discover the architecture, the collection, and the glorious past of the castle. You will also meet the former residents and their rebellious characters. At the time of our visit, there is also the exhibition Soil Mate van Clara Spilliaert in the castle. Clara Spilliaert creates artworks on paper, in clay and plaster. Her sculptures embody a complexity that is present in nature, in humans, and in the beauty of their interconnectedness. That complexity sometimes results in images that some visitors may experience as slightly erotic or explicit. You can find out more about the exhibition here. After the tour, we will chat for a while with a drink (included) in the café of the Kasteel van Gaasbeek. The visit will be a beautiful moment of connection with like-minded people. With this activity, we focus on adults with autism.
