Rental Family

"Rental Family" is set in contemporary Tokyo and follows an American actor (Brendan Fraser) who is struggling to find a purpose in his life. Everything changes when he gets an unusual new job: he starts working for a Japanese agency specializing in ‘rental families’, where he fills in for strangers. As he immerses himself in the worlds of his clients, he begins to forge real connections that blur the lines between acting and reality.
