LA GROOVISTA - First act - 7.00 pm La Groovista is a group of six percussionists who share their energy, their exuberance and their joy. This passionate ensemble, driven by song and rhythm, composes and draws its inspiration primarily from Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Beninese and Creole cultures. They convey the beauty of a rich musical heritage and embody a determined feminism. Through their unique arrangements, they take on the trance rhythms usually played by men, blending tradition and innovation to create a subtle yet powerful result.
