In this iconic musical, the Australische Sandy and greaser Danny discover that after their summer romance, they happen to end up at the same high school. The happiness is short-lived for Sandy, when the Danny from vacation turns out to be a tough guy at school who belongs to the T-Birds. And that's why he has a certain image to maintain. Sandy tries to make friends with the most popular girls in school, the Pink Ladies. But because of her frumpy appearance, she remains a loner. A change is needed.
