Discover one of the most beautiful creations of Victor Horta, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site with its superb rotunda glass roof and numerous original elements.
The Hôtel van Eetvelde recently underwent a complete restoration of the central glass roof. This private mansion was built in 1895 by Victor Horta for Edmond van Eetvelde, secretary general for the Congo, who wanted to show his social success with a home capable of hosting beautiful receptions. Characteristic of the Horta style, the house presents a superb rotunda glass roof and numerous original elements. It was classified as "UNESCO World Heritage" in 2000. The visit continues in the neighboring house where van Eetvelde had his office, just as exceptional in dimensions as his prestigious house.
