Short Films by Lieven Debrauwer

Lieven shows his very first work as a filmmaker: animated shorts from when he was 15 years old, his final project at the Narafi film school in 1991 (‘Het Bankje’), and his first collaboration with Dora van der Groen: ‘Leonie’ (jury prize in Cannes). Lieven introduces the films and shares anecdotes. You will see where the foundation for ‘Paulineen Paulette’ was laid.
