Christmas. A warm breath in the cold night. Jan sings It is the feast of the old Germans in honor of the sun, so the books tell us in black and white. De Roomse church explains it differently; it tells us that it started with a little stable in the Palestinian area. Karel tells The winter solstice is the birthday of the invincible sun. We light fires and burn candles. What is more beautiful than opening your heart to the new, warm light that we need so much to make something of it despite everything?
