De Eekhoorntjes on a day trip to the Christmas market in Aachen (D)

It's that time again! De Akense Christmas market opens its doors on November 20, and from then until Thursday, December 23, we can enjoy one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe. The 53rd Aachen Christmas market lets us be enchanted by the magic of the stalls and the twinkling lights around the cathedral and the town hall. More than 120 merchants, craftsmen, artists, and restaurateurs offer beautiful Christmas decorations, candles, and Printen, festive music, and handicrafts from traditional workshops. Christmas sounds and the delicious scent of Aachener Printen, cinnamon stars, marzipan, chestnuts, and fine spices hang in the air for a month, attracting young and old to the imperial city.
