Rosie Stuarts head is working overtime, but on stage, everything falls neatly into place. De Gentse songwriter and troublemaker does not like half-measures: her songs are 100 percent black and white, zero percent gray. Sometimes she reminds you of her mother, who with the same je-m’en-foutisme scored high with the Kortrijk cult band Midnight Men. In her voice, you hear snatches of Sinéad O’Connor, PJ Harvey and Patti Smith, but above all someone who does not beat around the bush. Together with Kamiel Bossuyt (guitar), Tibo Polleunis (drum) and Jannes Van Houcke (bass), Rosie tackles the walls and the people around her, in a confrontation in which she challenges not only the audience but also herself. On January 16, 2026, her debut EP Cupid/Vegan appeared on the Belgian label LABELMAN. Als Oost-Flemish laureate of Sound Track enjoys Rosie Stuart in 2026 a year of customized guidance.
