Poetry Walk Taalent

In 2026, Taalent and forest ranger Gert Verbruggen will organize a poetry walk for the eighth time, this time on Saturday afternoon, August 22. As is tradition, forest ranger Gert Verbruggen of the Agentschap Natuur and Forest will once again map out a new walk and will talk about nature and his work in the Chartreuzebos during the walk. And about the changes in the forest. Halfway through the walk and at the end of it, word artist Geertrui Henckens will read the poems by the members of the poetry collective Taalent from Holsbeek. We are also providing a touch of music again. Muzikant John Joris will accompany the poems with a musical backdrop. The theme of the poetry walk this time is 'Silvamorphosis', the metamorphosis of the forest, a forest change. The walk starts at the entrance of the Chartreuzebos.
