Stijn seems to have his life in order, until his girlfriend Carmen feels a lump in her breast. The diagnosis is hard: breast cancer. Terwijl Carmen goes through a heavy treatment process, Stijn seeks refuge in the nightlife and starts an affair. How do you deal with such a drastic diagnosis? Can you justify your own behavior if that is the only way to stay upright? ‘Komt een vrouw bij de dokter’ is a gripping performance about love, shame, guilt and saying goodbye when death is near. The performance is based on the autobiographical novel of the same name by Kluun. Direction is in the hands of Raf Jansen. On stage are Jonas Van Thielen, Charlotte Sieben, Amber Blommaert and Ann Pira.
