Film: Hector

Looking for a cozy movie afternoon? In the run-up to the Baloise Belgium Tour in Hoeilaart, we are screening the delightful Flemish classic Hector (from 1987) in the theater hall of GC Felix Sohie. Come laugh and enjoy this heartwarming film and at the same time soak up some of the atmosphere of the cycling festival that will soon be arriving in our municipality. Extra cozy: we are treating everyone to a free hot chocolate! Everyone is welcome! Achiel, the owner of the local bakery, is anything but happy. His son fails repeatedly at cycling and his wife is doing her utmost to flee the village as quickly as possible. In desperation, Achiel calls on Hector's help to assist his son Jos with training for the Zwalmzele cycling race. Meanwhile, his wife has started a career as an actress and is playing one love scene after another with Achiel's greatest arch-rival.
