Lying-down concert 'Summer Stillness'

If the weather is nice enough, the afternoon concert will take place in the meditative garden of Boventoon. Where summer is party time for many people, for others, summer is about enjoying everything nature has to offer. The sun on our faces, the wonderfully fragrant flowers around us, the berries on the bushes, the beautiful colors of flowers and plants, a bit of shade under the tree,... This afternoon concert has an eye for all of this, but with a musical interpretation via singing bowls, gongs, flute, tongue drum, and many other instruments. A relaxing afternoon where the main ingredients are music, connecting, nature, and enjoyment. You don't need to bring a yoga mat. Mat, pillow, and blanket... everything is ready upon arrival.   Biography Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was able to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders but also in the Netherlands. He has played at Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his continuous innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he has also learned to interpret via live looping. In the past, he has played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team building, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
