'Kanaal’ takes the audience to a bank. A canal or waterway has often been created by human intervention and leads water and people from a to b, but at the same time, it separates the left from the right bank. With binoculars, spectators look to the other side, where a row of houses forms the decor. What starts as an intimate concert by the musicians of Zwerm slowly unfolds into an unexpected theater spectacle. Accidental events are given a new meaning by the live music and the unique setting.
