With BEELDENSTROOM , Natuurpunt Damvallei and Damo Arte join forces for a unique experience in which nature and culture flow seamlessly into each other. In de Damvallei – the green gateway to the Nationaal Park Scheldevallei – the landscape itself forms the backdrop for an open-air photo exhibition. Along a carefully mapped out walking and cycling route of approximately 5 kilometers, you will discover historical images that tell the story of this region: from the old Scheldt arms and vast meadows to the life and work of fishermen, willow growers, hunters, and brickmakers. No walls or thresholds here: nature is the gallery, freely accessible to everyone who lets themselves be carried along the route.
