Warre with tight strings - Warre Borgmans

Warre has always liked to sing. At the age of 11, in the fifth grade, he achieved first place in singing (unfortunately, he failed the other subjects). Yet the actual step towards the microphone took a while. It was only in 2018, when he played the title role in the musical Scrooge, that the vocal cords really started rolling. For his latest performance, Warre enlisted some top classical musicians, friends with whom he sat at the table in the cafeteria of the Koninklijk Vlaams Muziek Conservatorium van Antwerpen forty years ago. Together they selected a series of cheerful (and occasionally somewhat less cheerful) but always singable songs. And thus, Warre with Strakke Strings was born. Expect a repertoire full of brilliant songs, in Flemish, English, and French, wrapped in frivolous, fresh, and new arrangements and performed by a phenomenal string quartet. And between the songs, there is also some cozy chatting and laughing. Sit down, relax, and enjoy the music and the story!
