Tinel Ensemble

Tinel Ensemble is a young company, consisting of six driven musicians with the Limburger Kian Janssen on clarinet. Pianist Jef Kolacny was one of ‘De Twintigers’ on Klara in 2026. The ensemble introduces itself to us with a particularly powerful quintet program. In The Quintets Edition two masterpieces from the quintet repertoire are highlighted, which at first sight seem to be each other's opposites. The widely known clarinet quintet of Mozart radiates youthful and playful charm, while Schumann's piano quintet is imbued with romantic depth and duality. It promises to be a chamber music concert on the edge of the knife, in which the musicians go in search of the contrasts and similarities between these well-known quintets. Central are the dialogue and the interaction between the solo instruments and the string quartet. Two masterpieces on one evening. A journey from light to shadow, from lightheartedness to depth.
