Bach ad Meridiem

For the third consecutive year, the association Ars in Cathedrali is organizing the organ concert series "Bach ad Meridiem", which is entirely dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach (on Saturdays June 13 - 20 - 27 & July 4, 2026 - 12:00 PM) From 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM , organists Ben Van Nespen, Charlène Bertholet, Annelies Focquaert, and Momoyo Kokubu will pay tribute to the German composer. The concerts take place in the Choir of the Cathedral , where the organ is located, which was built in 1977 by the Brussels organ builder Patrick Collon . This instrument is particularly suitable for baroque music, and of course, in particular for the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
