Guided walk in the Bos van Aa - Autumn edition

On Sunday, September 20, an open autumn walk will depart at 2 PM from the loading quay of the canal. We will then immediately dive into the former sand extraction site of the Bos van Aa. The autumn colors offer magnificent images of a special nature reserve that is slowly preparing for winter. Plants and animals all have their own strategies for getting through the harsh season, and that is already visible now. Along the way, you will receive information about how all this works. With a bit of luck, we will also see the main managers of this more than one-hundred-hectare area: a herd of Galloway cattle. Departure at the loading quay on the right bank of the Zeekanaal Brussel-Scheldt, Sluisweg Zemst. This is located about one and a half kilometers downstream from the Humbeek bridge (towards the Zemst lock). In rainy weather, boots are recommended.
