On Sunday, August 2, we have the guitarists Jonathan Keto and Jethro Morgatana as guests at 't Uilekot at 5:00 PM.
Jonathan Muanza Keto started playing guitar when he was 13 years old. His uncle was a guitarist himself and taught Jonathan how to play the guitar. In 2009, Jonathan moved from Congo to Belgium. Once he arrived here, his mother enrolled him in the music school where he discovered the jazz world thanks to his teacher Kari Antila. Zijn Afrikaanse roots, jazz, funk, and gospel form his main musical influences. Together with the Congolese musician and producer Jethro Morgatana, they bring tropical Afro vibes.
Free admission, voluntary contribution welcome.
Drinks and snacks are available at the bar. Café open from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. In case of rain, the concert will take place in the tent or the café.
This is an activity within the framework of the project 'Much begins with listening', in which we offer new, regional musical talent a springboard.
