A biodiverse garden is much more than just a beautiful collection of plants; it is a living, resilient ecosystem in your own backyard. By choosing variety in plants, shrubs, and trees, you create a paradise for beneficial insects, birds, and hedgehogs. There are also many recycling techniques that can help you make your garden biodiverse, such as alternative grass management, the construction of brushwood fences, the targeted planting of native species, or providing a compost area. By increasing biodiversity, you not only create a more lively garden, but you also help nature and reduce maintenance. A small adjustment makes a big difference. Through examples in the garden of Paul and Erna, you will receive an explanation of how you can practically tackle this yourself. The workshop is free, but admission to the garden must be paid on-site. Registration is required. Max 20 people per time slot. More info about this garden: The garden of Paul and Erna Van Damme
