Unique fen walk – discover hidden nature

On Sunday, June 28, guides Jack, Jos and Filip will take you on an exceptional trip through the Hageven. This walk is unique because it – for once – goes straight through parts of the area where you are normally not allowed to go, to protect the vulnerable nature. Along the way, you will discover a great variety of biotopes and receive explanations about the origin and history of the landscape. The various fens are also extensively discussed: how they were formed and why they are so special. These fens are extremely sensitive to disturbance and harbor rare plants and animals that benefit from peace and stable water quality. A rare opportunity to experience the Hageven from the inside! Wearing good shoes is recommended during this walk.
