Workshop biodiversity in the garden (Hamont-Achel)

A biodiverse garden is much more than just a beautiful collection of plants; it is a living, resilient ecosystem in your own backyard. By choosing variety in plants, shrubs, and trees, you create a paradise for beneficial insects, birds, and hedgehogs. There are also many circular techniques that can help you make your garden biodiverse, such as alternative grass management, the construction of dead hedges, the targeted introduction of native species, or providing a compost area. By increasing biodiversity, you not only create a livelier garden, but you also help nature and reduce maintenance. A small adjustment already makes a big difference. Through examples in the garden of Bart and Wendy, you will receive an explanation of how you can practically approach this yourself.
