Collectif Mensuel Le heart of Europe is, it is said, the Brussels commission, but the spirit of corrosive, disrespectful, warning, and entertaining European theater is on the side of Liège, at the Mensuel collective. The Echo Le Collectif Mensuel (Blockbuster, Zaï zaï…) invites the spectators to actively participate in the recording of a sound capsule intended to testify to the fact that Humanity as a whole has not let itself go to the looting of resources and selfish withdrawal. This capsule paints the portrait of those who will not appear in history books, but who have nevertheless contributed, through their noble fight, to maintain faith in the human species. Through the story of acts of resistance (factory occupation, migrant rescue, civil disobedience…), this sound testimony draws the galvanizing fresco of a fraternal and solidary human species. To guarantee its reading by our descendants, this narrative is recorded using rudimentary technology, in a single take, transforming each performance into a unique and perilous performance. On stage, a dozen musicians, actors, sound effects artists, and technicians are active with the public to prepare the recording. And deploy treasures of energy to counter the hazards of live performance and carry out this disproportionate and fragile project. In passing, by seeking to transmit to the Earthlings of tomorrow what is most remarkable today, Capsule offers an exciting portrait of a world that makes resistance its reason for being.
