Plants do not need humans, the other way around does. Plants are the first living beings that came to land, long before animals and humans appeared on earth. Plants live on water, minerals, carbon dioxide from the air, and light. But humans do not live on love and heavenly dew alone. For food, clothing, medicines, building materials, stimulants, and much more, humans are dependent on the plant world. Even the carbon in the fossil fuels that are at the origin of the industrial revolution is of plant origin. Without plants, no food for animals and humans. Without plants, no comfort.
