Della Bossiers is a true grande dame of the Flemish listening song. For 45 years, this chansonnière pur sang has been on stage, deeply rooted in the tradition of the French and European chanson. She was once noticed by none other than Ramses Shaffy, which first brought her fame in the Netherlands as an interpreter of her own subtle songs. With classics like ‘Fleur de Buda’, ‘Jefke’, and her duet ‘Mensen van achttien’ with Wim De Craene, she left her mark on the Dutch-language listening song, while her richness of language won her the prestigious Tien-voor-Taal pen twice.
