Balkan Trafik!

The festival will transform this iconic venue into a true indoor festival, featuring two main stages, a Balkan Village, music lounges, meeting areas and an experience designed throughout the entire building. True to its mission of building bridges between Belgium and the Balkans, Balkan Trafik! will present a programme that challenges stereotypes: from Roma brass bands to electronic beats, from centuries-old polyphonies to emerging electro scenes, from gypsy punk to gypsy jazz, as well as Balkan food and wines. This anniversary edition marks a turning point for one of Brussels’ most distinctive festivals: more intimate, more immersive and deliberately limited in capacity.
