UCHE YARA is an artist whose music is distinguished by a raw intensity and a strong emotional charge. She develops a hybrid universe mixing alt-pop, R&B and club culture, oscillating between hypnotic passages and more intimate moments. On stage, UCHE YARA adopts a performative approach where voice, guitar and bodily movement combine into an immersive stage setup, on the border between a concert and a club experience. This physical and expressive dimension occupies a central place in her work. Her first album BODYSCANNER is structured as a club record observed from an introspective angle. It explores the tensions between inner perception and external gaze, as well as the relationship to the body, to identity and to self-observation in an increasingly scrutinized world.
